Message from Stuart Young, Head of East Midlands Regional Assembly

The new East Midlands Regional Assembly website is a vital tool in communicating the activities of the Assembly to the people of the East Midlands and further afield.  We had thousands of visits to the old site and hope that this improved and used friendly site will be even more interesting.

Everything we do is on this site including Board papers and agendas.  We want to let you know the valuable work and contribution our Members make to the work of the assembly and the positive links we have with partner organisations.  The re-design of the site has been carried out by our staff with help from experts from within the region – people who know what the East Midlands is and what it means to all of us.

We are committed to a programme of improvements across the whole of the Assembly including the website.  What you see today will be monitored and adapted to make it as easy as possible for you to find out what we do.
