Climate Friendly Communities

Climate Friendly Commuities

Our climate is changing and we need to avoid the worst effects by reducing our emissions ofgreenhouse gases. Climate change will have far-reaching effects on every aspect of our lives.

The Climate Friendly Communities - Northamptonshire project is bringing together partners from all eight councils in Northamptonshire to assist local communities willing to work

toward climate friendly status. This scheme will be extended to other parts of the East Midlands shortly.

The project looks at questions such as :

􀂊 How do you think your community could become more climate friendly?

􀂊 What help and support would you need?

􀂊 How can you measure your carbon emissions?

􀂊 Where can you access grants for energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies?
