List of Indicators

This Appendix shows at a glance which indicators under each of the IRS Framework Objectives were used in the previous East Midlands State of the Region Reports (2004, 2006 and 2007) and have been retained, which indicators are new and which indicators have been made redundant.

Work has been undertaken this year to include where possible the 46 regional level sustainable development indicators from the Securing the Future’ (March 2005), the UK government Sustainable Development Strategy and to include indicators used in the Regional Economic Strategy.
