The Region's Sustainable Development Objectives

The region’s 17 sustainable development objectives included within this IRS Framework are overarching objectives. The individual Component Regional Strategies include the more detailed and specific objectives.
 
The 17 sustainable development objectives listed below are arranged by theme for ease of reference. The progress that the region is making towards meeting each objective is reported through the State of the Region.

 

Social

1. To ensure that the existing and future housing stock meets the housing needs of all communities in the region
