This website is the on-line home of the Integrated Regional Strategy (IRS) Framework - the Sustainable Development Framework for the East Midlands.

This website ensures the IRS Framework is a live and interactive web based document that is regularly updated as new information becomes available. It is based upon the text in the IRS Framework published in January 2005. The IRS text as at January 2005 can be viewed here: IRS Part I (3.1MB PDF) and IRS Part II (3.3MB PDF).

This website links to the East Midlands Integrated Toolkit (www.emtoolkit.org.uk) and the revised State of the Region to provide a fully integrated tool and a valuable resource for policy makers and project managers in the region.
