Monitoring

DCLG now requires all RPBs to undertake monitoring on an annual basis to evaluate the implementation of the RSS. This requires RSS policies to be written in such a way they can be supported by targets and indicators. The RPB will prepare an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) from the data collected by February each year. The aim of the AMR will be to ensure that RSS is being implemented correctly by all responsible groups and organisations. It will also identify issues that as a consequence need to be reviewed or where the RPB needs to react to the impacts of its strategy.
