The Nottingham Declaration for Schools - Current Consultation
This consultation runs from the beginning of April to 16th June 2008 and, subject to the views of consultees, the Schools Declaration will be launched in Nottingham in Autumn. A working group has drawn up the draft Declaration and accompanying guidance and welcomes views on the various questions posed. Two versions of the questionnaire (six questions only) are provided which can either be emailed back to us, or alternatively posted/faxed if you would prefer to write in your responses by hand.
The consultation letter explains the context and rationale; the draft Declaration includes the commitments that a school would potentially sign up to; the draft guidance notes suggest how the commitments could be acted on and the two sample resource sheets illustrate how schools in different areas could be signposted towards more local resources.
