The Investment for Health Group is a key group in the region supporting EMRA's role in advocating the health and well being of the East Midlands.

Its main role is to:

• Oversee the implementation of the Investment for Health Strategy in the East Midlands, reporting annually to the Regional Communities & Policy Board
• To support the work of those delivering the Investment for Health Strategy
• Coordinate the integration of regional, sub-regional and local public health activities and strategies across all sectors
• Identify linkages between health issues and the wider themes of the Integrated Regional Strategy in order to contribute to improving health and reducing health inequalities within the East Midlands
• To provide a forum for the development of EMRA policy proposals, for the agreement of the Regional Communities & Policy Board

This page contains all the papers from recent meetings of the Group. It's membership consists of a Core Steering Group supported by Objective Leads. Membership of the group is drawn from local government, the business and voluntary sector, health and environment sectors.

The Group meets quarterly with alternate meetings being joint meetings of both the Core Group and the Objective Leads.
