Consultation on East Midlands Leaders' Board Scheme
A legal requirement of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 is that the East Midlands Leaders’ Board is required to put together and consult on a ‘scheme’ (or proposal) for its formal establishment and operation.

The deadline for comments was Thursday 18 February 2010. The results of the consultation are in the process of being considered before the proposals are formally submitted to Government.
