CPD Training

A comprehensive training programme was specially designed to run alongside the competition in order to sharpen the team's knowledge and skills in sustainable design practice prior to submitting their entry.

The training programme included both a series of one-day workshops and an on-line "KnowledgeBase" to help the teams apply their new knowledge & skills to their competition entry.

Training Days

1. Introduction to the wider context of sustainability on the Sherwood Energy Village site

2. Low cabon design through 'Catalyse' *.

 

 

 

* Catalyse is an INREB Faraday Partnership project which aims to develop a series of Continuous Professional Development packages around low carbon design. This East Midlands project is being facilitated by Loughborough University, and has the involvement of De Montfort, Nottingham, Loughborough, and Ulster Universities, as well as the Building Research Establishment (BRE), and Sherwood Energy Village.
